WAPDA spearheads successful completion of EU Grant under Warsak 2nd Rehabilitation Project

The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), in collaboration with the European Union (EU) and Agence Française de Développement (AFD) as Lead Partner, has announced the successful conclusion of various works under an EU Grant at the Warsak Hydroelectric Power Station. This achievement marks a significant milestone in advancing sustainable infrastructure and fostering local community development within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This comprehensive phase of the project concentrated on several key areas: modernizing the Warsak Hydroelectric Power Station, reinforcing flood and sediment management systems, and empowering nearby communities through capacity-building and social development initiatives.

WAPDA played a pivotal role in executing high-impact interventions throughout the project. Notable advancements include:
